When Mariana Vieira moved from Brazil to Florida, she experienced firsthand the confusion that immigrant families face with the American insurance system. Policies written in dense legal language. Agents who couldn't explain what was covered. Families paying for protection they didn't actually have.
She saw families who had their homes classified wrong — insured as condos when they were houses, or vice versa. She saw people overpaying for years because no one ever reviewed their policy. She saw the fear in someone's eyes when they realized their insurance wouldn't cover their claim.
In 2025, Mariana founded Venera Insurance to fix this. Not just another agency — but one built on a simple promise: every client will understand exactly what they're paying for, in a language they're comfortable with. English or Portuguese.
